Greetings everyone. I’ve seen Mike Elko’s name mentioned (along with a zillion others) for the Penn State head coaching job, but I wondered is it easier to make the college football playoff at Texas A&M or Penn State? Penn State’s made it last year and it looks like Texas A&M will make it this year for the first time.

So I guess the question to ask is it easier for Texas A&M to finish in the top four of the SEC or for Penn State to finish in the top four of the Big Ten Conference?

At state Penn they have to climb over neighbor Ohio state.  And then I’d say pretty regularly they’ll have to climb over Oregon or Michigan.  Then someone among UW. USC Illinois and Indiana or maybe someone else tends to be really good.  And certainly many other teams have the ability to rise up and trip you up.  Iowa Nebraska ucla Wisconsin.  Michigan State

I just think you know going in the big ten will have 3 tremendous playoff caliber teams and “might” have 3-4 others.  If usc doesn’t have nd on their schedule and they are 7-1 right now they are absolutely part of the hype train

Maybe you can say the same for the SEC. Especially now that ok and tx are there.  But the b10 is a beast
