ParticipantTalafreako is going to be a political star. Polished and genuine. I tried hard to not like him. Couldn’t do it.

ParticipantOsseff.
As for the vote count, being here in Tejas what I gather is that a lot of people really don’t like Paxton. To be impeaced for fraud by your own party is a n achievement, and not a good one. This probably was more an indictment of Paxton vs support of Telarico. Give DJT vredit for loyalty, but he dug a hole that may have been too hard to climb out of.

ParticipantDS , I need you on the record on what happened in America’s election yesterday. Please provide your thoughts. It’s fine if you want to start a new post, perhaps even preferable.

ParticipantI’ll do what I want. Haha. I think yesterday was a combination of things, the biggest being republican fatigue with politics. I think many just sat this one out. The RNC needs to get out of the 80’s and realize that they are facing an adversary that controls most of the media and has done a superb job with mastering identity politics with young voters, who are the ones trying to vote their way out of their parents house and into the “American Dream” that was promised to them but is still so very far out of reach. The left has done such a good job of creating an army of pissed off people that think these politicians will change things for them, will speak for them, will normalize their every fetish and desire, and it is working. When you are able to get every kink and fringe belief unified and create an antichrist, it becomes a religion, and that is what they have done. It is a masterclass.

ParticipantRepublican fatigue. Oh ok. Dude, you are right there with PT. The high cost of living, the war, gas prices, grocery prices, tariffs, self dealing, stupid vanity programs.no mention of that at all in your post. The broken campaign promises.
Nope you chose to go with Republican fatigue. -

ParticipantWell, I’m fatigued, but I still went HAM on my ballot. As tired as I am I’m still going to stand up for my beliefs and not be a mealy mouthed flamer who drifts in and out with the tide. This is going to sound shitty, but I have not paid much attention to prices, I don’t look at the bill or receipts I just sign and go on to enjoy the day.
