Have you ever been to Paris PT?
My first time was in 1987, then 1989, 1991, 2015, and I was there in May 2026. I spent almost a month in Paris recently. I haven’t noticed much difference. Great city, great food, great everything. My family and I were out walking the street until the early morning hours. Never a problem.
If you want to be scared to travel watch the news or social media, if you want fall in love with a country, go see it for yourself.

Fair. We Went In 2020 and you are right the tourist spots felt like Paris to me. Cant speak to whole city.

good thing you and I didn’t go in 2019

”electrical” fire 🤔. Lots of those in Canada, New York and Japan right now

Yeah, I watched that fire on the news. Very sad.

I was also  in London and Barcelona if you want to see how terrible those cities are.

Frances is terribly unsafe – look at their crime ratings. D+. 23rd percentile, behind 77% of all US cities.

        Le horror, sacre blue

Oops, that is Frances, Washington, USA. My bad. Kind of like mixing up the Caitlin Clark game for an Atlanta Hawks game. At least I didn’t do it in public to try and out someone though, or schmitt the bed.

lol what schmitt show that was.

PT hasn’t updated us on that whole fiasco.

I’m sure there are some X Bot posts .

Frances. WA is an unincorporated community in a very rural agricultural area with no recorded population. It is not a city or even a town, has no post office, mayor or city council, so even one crime skews that number exponentially. I would live in Frances, WA before Paris and especially Kalifornia.

Are those drones and machine guns on top of the turrets in that picture? At least they’ve moved on from telling everyone that the president’s wife is a man.

Only in America do people feel the need to carry a gun to go to a movie or even Walmart. Europe is safe as heck.

Like Alex Pretty carrying a loaded 9MM with two fully loaded magazines to a ‘peaceful protest’?

        Just more trolling…

Yes Balls, you are right it is perfectly safe.  Now flip the script, you are a wanderlust Parisian spending a month in Los Angeles on holiday, soaking up the city for all that it is, seeing all the good things.  A few week stay at Terranea, a quick side trip to La Jolla, another to Santa Barbara, dinner with a view every night, blah blah blah.  You are not going to see, or even notice the issues that plague the city.  Sure, you might see a bum taking a shot in a coffee can while on a TMZ star tour, but you are only seeing the glitz and glam.  You are not strolling through MacArthur park or skid row.  You are not privy to the plight of the everyday Angelino.  Nor are you expected to, you are on vacation, no one has time for that.

Germany is also sounding the alarms now after their failed immigration policies.
