ParticipantHe went 6-4 in the Finals. 29 wins and 27 losses. Finals MVP twice.
lost in ‘74, ‘83, ‘84 and ‘89
Moses outplayed him in ‘83 h2h
won in ‘71, ‘80, ‘82, ‘85, ‘87 and ‘88
lost west finals in ‘72, ‘77 and ‘86
Hakeem outplayed him h2h in ‘86
Walton vs kareem in ‘77 was kind of a wash. Or slight edge to KAJ. same with old wilt in ‘71. The gap for KAJ over Walt was wider. But Walt had monster rebounds and assist numbers
not only was Jordan 6-0 in finals he was mvp all six times and he was never outplayed h2h.
the gap is actually much larger the you would think IMOhttps://www.sportsnostalgiahq.com/kareem-abdul-jabbar-finals-record/

ParticipantKaj’s legacy is greatly rewarded for college dominance and of course his long held scoring record and signature devastating Sky hook. It’s pretty funny how the only ones to block it were old school guys like Moses wilt and Walton. As he got older it got more devastating or bigs in league got weaker?

ParticipantI guess you can try and tear down the big man and his accomplishments, but no one comes close when looking at his combined high school, college and NBA record.
BTW Moses never blocked his shot however, nine guys can lay claim they did, Wilt multiple times and twice in Kareem’s rookie season, Hakeem, Nat Thurmond who Kareem said was the best center he ever played against, Walton only once from behind, Robert Parish, Ralph Sampson, Mark Eaton, Dr J and Bill Willoughby. He shot 28,307 skyhooks in his 20 year career.
Check also that he destroyed Bill Walton and that’s saying something.
