Gottdammitt, don’t mess with my USDA Prime Bone in ribeye! It is my one indulgence now that I gave up chasing big breasts. And I’m not talking poultry here.I’m talking tiddies.

We are increasing beef imports from Mexico and Argentina. The ranchers in Texas are getting fawked but yeah fawk them, they’re getting what they voted for. But what about me? Right out of the gate they tell us Mexican beef has something called screw worm disease. Ironic, it’s a screwing alright. 300,000 metric tons of tariff free beef coming in. To give you an idea, McDonalds alone uses 360,000 tons a year. Sounds like a fast food bail out, I doubt it does much for consumers ( in lowering prices).

My ribeye pic did not post, this is my boys tomahawk, steakhouse in Chicago. Daaamn good. I have heard Argentina has good beef as well but I like my USDA PRIME.

“The highest official quality grade of beef in the United States is USDA Prime. It features the most marbling (intramuscular fat), which makes it very tender, juicy, and flavorful. Only about 2% to 5% of all beef graded by the USDA earns this top rank, and it is mostly sold to high-end steakhouses and luxury restaurants. “

oh yeah! My cholesterol be damned.
