Has a nice ring to it don’t you think. Blowout earnings and revenue today sending the stock into the stratosphere after hours. Volatility works both ways of course, but when it’s in your favor let it run.

Wow! Congratulations. Why is it popping after hours?
You think I’m late to the party by getting on the train now? do you think it’s too late?

I might plunk down a little cash just to see what happens. I don’t like to buy after a big jump.

        Then don’t. I don’t either I wouldn’t

I am thinking about posting the chart on my account because I’m really confused. you and I were told about a particular investment strategy and I did the complete opposite and yet somehow in spite of that I’ve made gobs of money I’m trying to reconcile this. He’s such a genius. He tells everyone so

It’s up so much after hours because that’s when the latest earnings were announced. They beat the estimates easily but what really sent it over the top was the full year guidance numbers  of $17.90 per share in adjusted earnings and revenue just under $170 billion. Investors were blown away.

l don’t think it’s too late to purchase shares because Dell is still in the early stages of AI with their process servers that generate a ton in sales.  I honestly don’t know what to tell you buying at the price it will probably open tomorrow morning, but if I were to add new money right now with the run the stock has been on I would dollar cost average my way in.
Take the amount you were going to invest and buy shares each month spreading it over a 10 t0 12 month time horizon. It works really well and lets the volatility work in your favor if you stay with it instead of a lump sum purchase at these levels.

Undoubtedly there will be profit taking and pullbacks along the way not to mention we haven’t even had a market correction of any significance. I’ll be interested to know what you decide.
