UDUB must have some nefarious dark Epstein money fueling their NIL and paying for his public commitment in order to scam the college football world into believing that they are a program that is on the rise.  They are not running a pure, grassroots recruiting campaign that relies on truth, justice, and the USC way.  They are simply making it rain, damn the torpedos, full steam ahead!  This is an outrage!  I think I will now soil myself!

No biggie Butkus, we’re loaded at OL. We can focus on OL in the 2028 class.

While I think USC “could” recruit 4-5 top OL? Meaning unlike others I think this USC class will not be 18-19 but more like 22 (unless they go portal to replace portal out losses). So that means recruiting one of every position on the field.

That would be 5 OL. I don’t see at this point USC recruiting 5 top shelf OL or 4 top shelf DL. After last year’s class, I can see maybe 2 top level DL and two top level OL. And IF they recruit anymore, they will be the 4-5 year project type that comes for a ride and that’s all.

Like you, I am concerned about QB. I think they get one HS and one portal. I think they’ll get one RB, a couple WR. 3-4 OL and DL. 4 DB. and a couple LB. All of a sudden we are up to about what, 20 there? Fills up fast. We are in May and they already have 13 guys committed? Out of 19-22 spots? That’s way early and way more than we are traditionally used to.
