Per a report on ESPN Game Day prior to the Fiesta Bowl.

mandb, you’ve got some ‘splainin’ to do:

“As I mentioned, Williams is not, nor will be, a part of UW’s football program moving forward.”

Oh well.  This is probably not good for UW and the team no matter how great of a QB Williams may be…. 🙁

I read that UW was not going to make it easy for him if he left. As in lawsuits.

Basically this is turning into players (thru their agents) leveraging their teams for bigger contracts by threatening to leave. USC let Branch and Robinson leave by refusing to meet their demands.

      it’s crazy.

Do you think it is only me that has some ‘splainin’ to do? Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE was sure he would never return.

As a matter of fact, I first heard this news from this post about a half hour ago! I just finished what I needed to get done, opened up my browser, checked my email the came here. I read that this news broke during the Ol’ Miss/Miami pre-game show. I didn’t tune in until the 2nd qtr.

Yeah, that is all fine and dandy. I did a quick look around and I couldn’t find many Husky fans that are rolling out the welcome mat. Even some former players have tweeted out that they doubt Williams can win back the fan base let alone the team.

I am not happy about it and just wanted to move on. Just a stupid situation all around.

Williams???? WTF are you talking about? “Williams” is up there with “Smith” and “Jones” as being a common last name.

If you follow college football especially when mentioning Washington. And read the board.  You’d see their qb is big news right now.
