Also it’s Brennan Carroll not Brendon Carroll.

The nepotism is high with nfl coaches. Ryan brought his son to USC. And plenty of other coaches do the same. My impression of Brennan is that he was competent. He got hired at Miami, Washington (nfl) and Arizona where dad didn’t coach. But I doubt he would have got those opportunities without Pete.

I agree. Spaulding was fitting and funny. That being said, he sucked as the OL coach last year for UW. Fisch is pretty good at having quality assistants, but I don’t know what he saw in Carroll. I was so happy dad got hired by the Raiders.

I remember this well.

The first time I had ever seen something that went viral actually scrubbed from the internet. Gone. Poof.

And NO, it wasn’t fans that came up with the name Spalding, it was OTHER USC coaches. FACT

Brennon Carroll was actually put in charge of walk-ons, and he thought it was “funny” to HAZE and torture these young Trojans. He was laughing it up while he made kids puke their guts out and call them all kinds of names . Video went viral. Real Trojan alumni were pissed. Daddy had to step in and, I am not sure how he did it, the tape disappeared.

Most families have at least one embarrassment. Brennon is and always has been the Carroll family’s.

Pete still has a place at the beach in LA. Would be a home run if he wanted to run the defense. sc
