ParticipantThanxs Bruddah Balls for another R update; hope you’re right. Dane Weber, 6-1, 210 is the best DT QB in Calif and one of the best in nation. He is very fast 11.0 100 m and faster than Lyons from Folsom HS. Runs like a RB! DW has it all arm, legs, leadership. Plus, like his competitiveness (Eye of da Tiger) and most of all has Mucho Mojo and Moxie which I look for in a QB. I see a lot of Caleb Williams in him.
USC went for Lyons hard, but he focked around and we pretty much dropped him. Now, we’re most likely getting Weber, who in my opinion is as just as good or better than Lyons. DW is rated 3* how stupid are da R services: P = 3,650 yds, 41 TD’s, R = 700 yds, 14 TD’s, QBR 139. Nah, in my books he is 4+* all da way. If he has a Sr season like his Jr season, the R services must bump him up and give him 4*.
Heck, the FB Gods said no Lyons, here is Dane Weber, Fight On! Now dat’s a Big Shaka or Kaboom… Cheers

ParticipantGood info Butkus, Chesney has made Dane Weber his biggest priority for 27. Chesney has made trips to Chaparral, and Weber returned to Westwood for a second visit with his former high school teammate Farinas a Bruin commit. Probably a long shot but I know the talented signal caller is impressed and interested.
BTW did you catch the Djokovic Draper match at Indian Wells the other night? One of the best I’ve seen in a while, the Joker at 39 played at just an incredible level even though he barely lost.

ParticipantI’ve been seeing how Dane Weber is no longer a secret or under da radar QB. Schools are going after him hard. I hope we beat you guys for his services, crossing my fingers. Dang, C. Chesney is one hard worker and R animal. UCLA hired the right HC. I feel UCLA will start getting top CIF players like the good ole day when USC and UCLA got the very best players from the SS CIF or entire CIF/State.
Yep, saw da match between Draper #27 and Joke #3 in Rd 16, man that 3rd set, tie breaker was a thriller. Draper pulling it out 7-5. Draper is a very good player, last year was ranked #6, but got hurt early, thus dropped in rankings. Yes, Jjokovic has still got da game, but at 39 I really do not see him winning another Major title (7 rd’s to win da title, is too hard for him. I still see him making semi’s). Alcarez and Sinner the top 2 in da ATP are just to good.
American men, I do not see anyone winning a major. Maybe guys like Fritz, Shelton could make the semi’s. Learner Tien, 20 yrs, #21 and climbing fast is a nice player. Tien is from San Diego and played at USC for one year. Tien, hired Michael Chang last year as coach, dropping long time coach Eric Diaz. Chang has done a great job with Learner so far. I can see LT at #12 by year end, but does not have da game to win a major (maybe clay, Roland Garros-French Open) like what Michael Chang did.
Our women are really good. Coco Gauff #6, Jess Pegula #5, Amanda Anismova #6, Madison Keys #14 was #6 last year, Iva Jovic #17 and climbing fast. I think Jovic, 18 yrs old, from right here Los Angeles, Torrance is da next great American star. Her parents are from Serbia (like Jjokovic)… Cheers
