ParticipantCompletely unprepared. The DB’s are so bad. Riley is an OC

Keymasterthe defensive backfield has been a problem all year. Turning the ball over twice is something you can’t do on the road. And you could argue that the penalty on the 75 yard touchdown is like another turnover.

ParticipantHow about D’anton Lynn? Can’t stop anything. Plus no QB pressure

Keymasteras you play better competition some people’s tendencies are exposed.
Maiava is 6 foot four and has an unusual number of passes batted down or blocked. He also tends to stare down his receiver and better defenses are picking up on that. I had noticed that a while ago and was wondering if I was just making assumptions that weren’t right. But I think that’s now been proven to be correct

Participant100% conquest. Don’t forget the penalties which is a clear lack of discipline.
He’ll blame the time change of course. How do we adjust from this and beat the Irish on the road? Michigan? Hell, Nebbie might beat us if the line play doesn’t improve. Sigh. I will say I am surprised that Lynn’s unit has shown zero improvement. Disappointing, extremely. A good not great D wouild make this a playoff caliber team, despite the other flaws. But not to be,

ParticipantHe should be fired for cause. The idiot has the learning curve of an earthworm. He requires someone to tap on his shoulder to let him know where the play clock is at. I have never even heard of that before.
I was told that his clock management duties were going to be limited by the new GM and given to someone else. Sure doesn’t look like it. Does it. sc

KeymasterEvery team has that. The tap is to let him know when the communication cut off to the field is about to happen. They cut off the signal with 5-10 seconds left.
and no. Play calling or time management is not going to be taken away by a GM. A GM is going to be in charge of making sure the facilities are clean and recruiting is done right and I assume would be part of the hiring process for coaches. gMs. have nothing to do with what happens on the field. But that decision to go for a 20 yard pass with two minutes left I just do not understand for the life of me. They screwed this game up for 60 minutes and should have left Illinois with a loss. And Illinois did everything they could to give the game to USC by handing them the ball on a fumble in the end zone. And USC marched the length of the field did a great job marching 80 yards and literally handed the game back to them. in other words, USC should’ve stolen this game even though they didn’t deserve it and pissed it away anyway

ParticipantYou posted USC should keep grinch, that Hugs was a good coach, CLR was a home run hire , and that Caleb wasn’t elusive. USC football won’t take your donations or even return a phone call.
please stick to non-contact sports. thanks. sc

Keymasterwell you post after every coach loses that USC should start their program over again. Flush all the players take three more years to start a new period so you got what you wanted. Congratulations
