The 4 monkeys on Dan Lanning’s back

Dan Lanning as head coach at Oregon over the last 4 years is 47-7 having lost 7 times and t0 5 total head coaches.

And 4 of those 5 head coaches are currently in the playoffs:

Kirby Smart (Georgia)

Kalen DeBoer (Alabama – lost to him 3x while HC at Washington)

Ryan Day (tOSU)

Curt Cignetti (Indiana)

To win the national championship it’s likely Lanning would have to finally beat at least 2 of those 4 coaches.  A very tall order.  But that would firmly remove any monkey off of his back for sure….lol

For this week, though, the only coach he should focus on beating is Joey McGuire, of course. 🙂

BTW if curious, that 5th head coach to beat Lanning?  He was just fired from Michigan State….lol
