ParticipantVery happy to hear we both whiffed on Henry. I wish you both the worst in the CFP. LOL! Sorry my team was unable to join the fray.

TEEParticipantDucks WR lineup is all 5*s next year.
Moore, Stewert, Lott , Bair, Henderson at TE
that should be pretty good enough. Best speed in Nation with Lott and Bair.
Donte returns. As he should. As Honorable Mention All- league. He’s good but I’m not sure he translates to the NFL. I told everyone that Gabriel was too small.
Ducks will hit the portal to fill any gaps. They have room with a class of 21. SC took 35 preps. How many portal guys? Looks like a roster turnover for SC
on to the playoffs. Dan needs to get it together this year.

KeymasterUSC had basically still been playing w 85. Remember Oregon jumped into paying hs players 2-3 years before USC and even played games with the roster. Paying guys to then be “walk ons”. USC was still scared of the ncaa boogeyman. And had many firings mid season to ruin the recruiting and talent pools.
So USC had about 85 scholarship guys and had a good 15 guys that looked like senior walk ons to me. Never heard of them. The 35 basically takes them up to 105 as are the rules.
the 4-5 guys who they kinda asked to leave and will portal. Which is why they announce so early. To drum up interest. Will likely expand to 10 or so when truly unhappy guys get close to 1/2 or after the bowl. Lemon leaves and so will lane. Which is just stupid.
they only have 13 seniors next year. Maybe 15. So bundle those 10 portal departures with 15 seniors. And whoever leaves next spring or fall and there’s your portal and spring 27 classes.
I am guessing that total is another 30. And that they’ll take 5 in the portal this time and 25 in next years class.

LA DuckParticipantThanks for the not-so-well wishes, GTrojan! Wouldn’t want it any other way, of course, between bitter, yet friendly, adversaries. 🙂
We both have to go through tOSU in 2026 (Oregon at the Horseshoe, tOSU at the Coliseum) – so we’ll probably both get an upfront view of Henry!
See you Trojans next year in the playoffs??? Hope so!
Next season I’m pretty much counting on losses at the ‘Shoe and the Coliseum for my quacks (this WW board will surely meltdown with another loss to the “Zeros”), with wins over Michigan and Washington at home plus Illinois on the road, and the rest of the schedule which I expect to be manageable. So theoretically at 10-2 with two losses to two (hopefully!) highly-ranked USC and tOSU teams should put us back in the playoffs again in 2026.
We shall see!
Til then, looking forward to seeing what the end of the 2025 season has in store for my, Saw and TEE’s duckies!!
