Man, I am a big Oregon admirer but they are really racking up the embarrassing national losses. Have they ever been in a close game on the national stage?
Who did they play this year? JMU? Basically a D2 team. Good D2 team. THen who? TT? I said all year they were fakes. At least they got to the Final 4. Last year’s team was better. They played IU this year. But holy crap 4 turnovers. 2 fumbles, an INT pick 6 and a blocked punt. All four turnovers either being points or handing the ball to IU inside their own 10. Just murder.
But that’s Oregon. I remember Florida State used to have that monkey on their back for awhile. Couldn’t get over on Miami or Florida.
Problem is these windows don’t stay open forever.
