The thing that surprises me is that King Miller ran for 128 yards I think. I realize the last run of the game was for 40 or 45 and I know he ran well on the first drive. But I was really under the impression he had done absolutely nothing in between the first drive and the last run.

funny how stats tend to be sometime

 

even when USC was losing, they were dominating yards and the key stats. What really screwed them up was that they botched two long drives and had to settle for field goals and then missed the field goals

These stats say USC didn’t dominate anything

Passing and rushing for 20% more than your opponent is dominating.    Per rush per pass.  All of it.

oh and now go delete 75 yards off of that for the last drive where usd was happy to concede yards as the clock wound down.  Numbers are them more like 40%.

as said previously.  USC doesn’t blow two fg and this is a much more enjoyable game but the better team won.  They usually do
