Some USC Recruiting News

The #1 rated JC CB visited this weekend and has committed to USC. That’s 6 Corners in this class. Jakwon Morris plays JC ball in Mississippi.

Also expect Cal commit CB Jayden Crowder Santa Margarita Catholic (Palmer’s school?) to flip to USC soon. 2026 class as well.

I think that gets us to 34 commits in this class. With all the coach firings the Portal and the flips are going to get heavy, but we don’t have much room.

What’s up with Prophet? When is he coming back? And what about Chosen – is he done?

I just read today that Prophet is not back practicing yet. Not cleared to practice, so he is weeks away from playing in a game. We sure can use him. Chasen is done for the year. Chasen was a knee injury bit we were never told how serious, but he is out for the year.

Chosen Prophet, sounds like one great name.

Shame for those kids who would likely be playing a lot and having an impact. Maybe not fixing all our problems, but certainly helping. Running back room and secondary both decimated. Sure hope B Jack’s turf toe hangs in there, those can be tricky. Wonder if we will see the true fresh converted from QB? I know he was banged up but question is can he go? Here’s Riley on Dalton:
