      I have no real issues with this whether it’s the press or coaches/athletic departments who are weighing in – those polls mean nothing these days.  So let them have their fun.

      All that matters is the CFP poll that comes out on Tuesdays.  And even that doesn’t matter too much until December 7th……a different sort of infamy.

      And I fully trust the committee will get it right more often than not.

      Makes you wonder what college football championship history would be like if we had the CFP the past 50+ seasons instead of only since the 2014 season….how things would be different?

      Or the converse, if we only had a championship based upon AP #1 vs AP #2, it would have been Oregon vs Texas for the national championship this past January…..hmmmm…..

        Great points LAD. Yes only one poll matters matter. Leta see what TU looks like.

        and yes the expanded playoffs have created Extra outcomes for sure.
