Saw Some Cool Things In NC Game

UConn runs a lot of double/triple pics but their wrinkle is how the shooter fakes to go to the “typical” spot (right next to final screen) but then sidesteps at last minute. Gets the shooter a wide open look. it’s a subtle but important piece.
love how UConn causes traffic at FT lane and then the Magic happens. Timing. Design. Execution. It’s Damn nice.

Michigan sends a big to follow up on all drive to baskets. They get 8-10 high percentage points on put backs a game.
loved watching this. Need an athletic big. But they must love slamming them back. But you can see they practice the play and the timing.

Neither team didn’ incessantly drive and kick out for a three. They do it but they had way more set plays, drives & fast breaks. UM only shot 15  threes for the game. Thats low in today’s game

Michigan scored 90+ in the first 5 games then what, 68?  SO UCONN had them playing their game.  Just couldn’t pull it off.  Good for that coach of Michigan.  Michigan has an amazing combo of football and basketball success.  I would have to say the best in the country at those two.  Maybe Florida as a rival but I think UM has a far better history in both sports.
