ParticipantFloyd Boucard was injured in SC’s 4th game against Michigan. Is he eligible to redshirt, or is playing in the 4th game a killer?

KeymasterYou can play in four games plus the bowl game. So that’s quite a few

ParticipantCarlon Jones #92 6-3 310 lbs flashed a little bit too. Boucard and Jones have a bright future in the interior of the line. Seeing Thompkins #8 on the edge is good too.He has struggled in the middle with double teams, he is better on the edge. It is really nice to see the depth on the Dline. Everyone returns next year except for Pepe, Silver and Lucas. And we add TomTom, Winfield, Wafle, and Jones. Finally some athletic big dudes.

ParticipantBB, reports that Texas and Texas A&M are trying to flip Winfield. Do you have any insight on that situation?

ParticipantSolid to USC but a really good player that USC is going to have to fight to the end to keep.

KeymasterI am flat out shocked that USC not only built this class but has not lost anyone. Just added a guy every few weeks. I don’t ever remember a class, much less a top class, where guys didn’t bail.
I really thought we would see a few guys drop as the leaves turned and the fat little girlfriend in podunk Ohio cried at homecoming.
Or as USC lost their first game or two. Nope.
USC is not a month away from signing day. Thins are sure to get hectic. But as calm as things have been, USC probably knows who the vulnerable guys in the class are and is likely to have backups. Or as big as the class is, maybe the backups are already in the class. If everyone shows up and sticks around for a year or two, this class will provide not only instant quality, but instant depth at a level USC has not seen in awhile.
