Why can’t we expect improvement, physicality and playoffs in year 4 of this experiment?

year 1 USc catered to you and all of the other immature children out there.  All of the bed wetters who want instant results.  You wanted to hear that all you needed to do was wave two fingers in the air and that USC would magically be number one again. so, what did they do? They brought in a whole bunch of transfers and went on a magical run.

What did I say at the time? I said this whole transfer game might work for one class but you better be bringing in elite high school talent and developing them fast to build a program. Remember me saying that?  so what did they do the next two recruiting cycles? Moore transferWhichResulted in kids who were waiting their turn bailing and leaving and made the rebuild much harder
Year 2 was a step back and the transfer game failures as well as lack of hs talent developing hurt usc in 24 and 24

new coaches in 24 made some things marginally better   Tougher conference and some bad luck made it worse

meanwhile, tampons like you are jumping up and down screaming because you were promised a national championship in year one or two and you thought we were on the way

 

year four  is  really year 2   They’ve got better talent   They’ve got two years of coaching in and they are playing high quality football   They have not lost at home. They lost one game on a walk off field goal. And two other games to top five or 10 teams on the road

and they have the top ranked recruiting class coming in.

 

their defensive rankings have jumped from the 90 to 100 area to the 80s to the 50s and now the 30s.

 

if you are too stupid to see the improvement and if Pasadena is too stupid to see the improvement, then me explaining it is not gonna make it any better for you.

 

I’m not sure if you noticed the rankings noticed the records or noticed the pointspread going in. But this was not a game who’s result was shocking or surprising and yet here you are acting like a little child who just got his birthday cake stolen
