OT : KISS Guitarist Ace Frehley RIP at 74

He died from injuries suffered during a fall at age 74. I live in fear of my 81 year old mother in law taking a fall. You old farts make sure to use your walkers, one fall and you could be a goner.

I thought “Beth” was kinda of a gay song but this one rocked pretty good. 43m views for this vid.

Beth was gay – no offense to Pasadena lol. If I want to hear a Kiss slow song, I’d rather hear God gave Rock and Roll. Say what we want about Simmons he was a master businessman. He milked that act for all they could squeeze out money wise and then crushed it for even more moolah.

As far as rock ballads go my favorite might be Patience G ‘n R. Even if it got overplayed.

ballads suck.  I’d list them all but they all suck.  Rock is to be loud.  Moving.  Pounding.  Not some slow thing to get a thick chick naked on the couch.

anything slow by guns or leopard sucks.
pretty sure Van Halen never wasted their time on a ballad.

The worst was Airplane morphing into Starship. The same group that brought us white rabbit and Jane came up with Nothings going to stop us now. Chicago of the 80’s was rough too, although I wasn’t a huge fan of them before then though they had some good songs. 25 or 6 to 4.

I did like Amanda though by Boston, not going to lie.

Van Hagar had ballads, love comes walking in.

Sucks sucks and sucks.

you might remember a blind I posted a picture of.  Amanda.  Dated her after wife 1 left.   Her name was Amanda.  Named after that song.  Gorgeous girl. Wildcat but what a horrible person.  That song is ruined for me
