ParticipantJava thinks Maiava will go in rounds 3-5 of the nfl draft. That’s kinda where I see it. $2-4 million? I’m super impressed with the leap Maiava took this year. Somehow he got faster, runs the RPO really well. Good arm, meets the nfl ideal size, 6-4 230. Seems like a great kid, coachable. Husan? Who knows, we hardly saw him this year but you know who has been watching? Riley. Next years schedule with a new QB? No thanks. Sorry Fraud, Roll with the guy with 20 plus starts. Lane prob goes with Lemon to the NFL. Oline should be deeper and better.
Portal WR1.QB – Maiva
RB – Jordan
TE – Lyons
TE – Bowman
WR – Hines
WR – TP
LT – Paige
LG – Raymond
C – O’Connor
RG – Noa
RT – JT or Vaikona or Pepe

ParticipantI agree that the schedule is a death march that might be unfair to Longstreet. Unfortunately, Bugs has a really low ceiling. If Riley survives, he needs to plan for 2027. Toss Bugs and get Longstreet some experience.

Keymasterthat’s pretty much the way I see it. The question is whether Longstreet will wait around another year to play with that kind of talent coming in. It’s a gamble, but I would say yes
Lane going to the NFL is such a huge mistake. The guy impresses about 30% of the time. About 30% he really disappoints. And the other percentage he is about what you would expect. he doesn’t outrun anyone. He’s rarely wide open. He drops a fair amount of balls. And right now in college he’s an excellent number two wide receiver and what he has got to prove? That he can become a number one.
he’s not heavy enough like Drake London, to really body guys up like a tight end and take advantage of his height. His hands aren’t consistent or perhaps he’s not strong enough to fight for contested balls. And when he gets the ball, he does not have the breakaway speed or the quickness due to his frame to leave guys in the dust. So what is his contribution? He can help you on jump balls. And occasionally he can body somebody up over the middle
is he a great downfield Blocker? I don’t see it. I saw him flagged two or three times this year and he only played half the time
as much as lemon has progressed? I feel like Lane has either regressed or just stayed the same over the last year or two

ParticipantAgree on Lane quite a bit. For being a big guy he is not physical like Drake. He can jump out of the gym tho. Thats an important attribute. But he hasn’t shown any speed to your point. Just not sure that’s not scheme. Riley calls a lot of hooks and “sits”
CLRs WR schemes aren’t that great. Guys rarely get open.
not a lot of drags or misdirection. He did a few last night and it worked really well. and lemon has had a few too. I would do much more often.i don’t recall Lane dropping passes? Maybe one. And a few 50/50 balls. I like Lanes hands myself. I see NO ISSUES.
JM and Lane played like they need another year. Up and down. Flashes for both decisions lol.

KeymasterI think the other TE will be the kid from Oregon or the JC te. I think bowman will redshirt.
I think lane will return and Hines will step up. I think Mosley or boobie will be wr 3.
OL depth will be even better as Reed is the only loss. Better have a backup center because killian is brittle
Given how prolific the offense was in 2025 I think only having to replace one wr and half a te puts them in excellent position.

KeymasterDon’t agree on Lyons. I think lane and one of the rbs are
bowman is a junior. Hes young. TE is a very challenges font position mentally and physically. I think a guy coming in as a junior won’t make an impact early enough for them to choose to burn his redshirt. Joey Olsen has been there two years and the other kid coming in is a jc all American.
have you actually watched bowman play this year? I have. And it’s goi g to take a year to undo all the damage Raul Lara has done.
Hope I’m wrong believe me

ParticipantIMO Maiava stays. He has a lot to clean up. He makes, on average, two completely absurd throwing decisions a game. Another full year at the helm with Riley’s tutelage and he’d be a top five pick in the draft.

ParticipantI agree with you that another year would benefit him. That said, this years QB draft is said to be very weak. Whereas next year the QB draft pool is more talented. His advisers will certainly take note of that.

ParticipantTrue enough, but going pro before you’ve perfected your craft makes success in the pros much more difficult IMO.
