Hahahahhaa remember whem they did this when USC beat them in Lou’s last game? They thought they were going to one of the top bowls and a chance to play for a nc and the usc loss ended up freezing them out of the big ones since most of them already had been arranged? So the 1-2 slots they were shooting for were gone. So those losers just quit and Lou’s career was over. Man that was awesome.

What concerns me is that bowls already had a hard time finding enough teams with 500 records. We’ve already had three of them today. Decide not to play. At what point does a ball game just not have anyone to come play?

Then again many of us have been seeing this for years. Most teams really should just shut down their season and go home. If you are 6–6 or 7–5 you really should not be playing in a bowl.

PT, I think we are watching something never seen before. Players are opting out of bowl games en masse. It’s not the schools making the decision.

we have talked about this for several years and I do not understand why the schools when they sign the NIL deals don’t require ball game participation as part of the deal and yet it doesn’t appear that that’s part of the mix
