      You could be right. UCLA is focused on the JM coach, but I think Smith just might be a better hire.

      Just have to laugh out loud.

      How many Einsteins are there on this WW board who actually thought Jonathan Smith was a good head coach?

      A show of hands, please!!  There were a TON of you.

      A good OC?  Sure.

      But a good head coach because he had one good season at OSU and beat a ranked Oregon team when Oregon’s QB1 was playing completely injured?  Okay…….lol…….what was it exactly that made so many of you believe he was a good head coach?

      Deer in headlights from the jump of his Michigan State tenure – all seemed pretty clear to me.  That he flamed out after, what, 2 seasons?  It all was so expected.
