in his exit interview this year the ever accommodating and friendly Machado lectured the media on asking the right questions.   Telling the fawning and incredibly home team friendly San Diego media they were asking the wrong questions of manny.

oh btw.  Mookie hit 288 in August.  307 for September.   And his post season BA isn’t 211.  In his long and illustrious post season career.  One in which he’s won 4 more rings than manny.  Mookie has hit 253.

Mookie has hit .300 one season as a Dodger. Regular season numbers below. I give him a B- as a Dodger overall. C+
as a post season champion myself. I could care less what Manny does I just know he doesn’t suck like you said he does

And in fact, Mookie had a much better August and September. And obviously Mookie had a much better October

And additionally, Mookie is much better in the postseason than manny.

Manny is a failure. Manny has a career failure. The statistics don’t lie. Manny batted 206 in August and September. Mookie hit nearly 300 in those two months. Mookie is better than Manny and yet you weren’t mad enough to show up and point that out to us you were just celebrating when Mookie was in a slump in June and Manny was hot. the complete picture is that Manny is a lifetime 211 hit her. And Manny and Fernando went one for 22 this postseason. Another Padre failure  that Manny can wear on his head like a crown  211 postseason hitter definitely sucks.  four rings does not suck
