Not sure if you remember how bad the Pete Carroll coaching search went at USC but there were jokes that no one wanted the job. He was like the 4th person they offered the job to but they’d reached out to a dozen or more folks.

OMG that is bad. And all the usual hot names rebuffed him too. Marcus Freeman and Cignetti both said no thanks. Riley’s name may have come up. I mean will ANYONE take the State Penn job? Is Jerry Sandusky’s kid in coaching anywhere? He might take it.
