KeymasterSoooooo lot to unpack here. Headlines first then explanations later
Dixon Wyatt is a Trojan. USC did flip him from Ohio state last minute.
USC exit interviews were yesterday and that’s why the 4 guys were encouraged to portal More later
jaKobi lane Or his people Think he’s ready for the nfl
Soooo USC mounted an all out last minute blitz
they promised Chris Henry $$ and that he’d be the starting #1 Wr USC is convinced they need a “big” wr and Henry was the target Longshot but with Dixon Wyatt? Why not
Dixon Wyatt has been known to be waffling since the playoffs Even before Apparently kept telling the press he was solid Ohio state while off camera everyone knew he was crumbling It’s like I’ve said for years Leaves turn mama and fat little gf start crying at Thanksgiving
so if Henry doesn’t fall? USC is going after Nick marsh of Michigan state Who just entered portal Has a million catches but Pat Fitzgerald doesn’t play a wide open style It’s thought Indiana and usc will be the contenders for marsh

KeymasterNow the follow ups. USC coaches were honest with Cordova Jackson Conley and Jordan about their future playing time. None of them are leaving bec of money. Also I’ll comment on portal needs. Very few
Cordova is leaving for the same reason USC will no longer portal a DL. The guys on the roster and the guys coming in are better than anyone who will be available in the portal. Maybe a de in the portal but certainly not a DT
Jarrett. Stewart Boucard. Tompkins. Abasiri jones. Frankly that’s too many and more are likely to go. DT. Better than what they can portal. All young. At de all they have is Crawford and Shelby but USC moves DT in and out of that other end spot. And perhaps they think ili waffle and Winfield can all slot there
Conley was a numbers game. USC wants to get bigger and more athletic. Read fast at corner. Marcellus Williams likely to lock down one corner. Conley thought he was the other. Coaches think prophet brown and chaser Johnson will be ahead of him. And Elijah hill and RJ Sermons also have legit starting potential. Annnnmd they love Alex graham who was hurt. I don’t exactly get all that because almost all of those guys aren’t any bigger than Conley. Either way that’s the scoop Basically USC has like 12 corners. I doubt they portal here. Too many elite young bodies already
Jackson we all know about. King miller and waymond Jordan returning. Along with the two incoming backs send him out. Also not going to portal here. Miller and Jordan have proven to be enough.
Jordan. Seems a little weird in hindsight. I mean. I guess he felt with all the wr injuries and the discipline this year if he couldn’t see the field he wasn’t going to. Tanook Hines will fill one wr spot. USC will need a premier top wr in the portal or Chris Henry from hs. But with Feaster and Mosley coming in and Hines established apparently still didn’t feel good about depth chart. Even with Richardson Lane, lemon and fair all leaving. Pretty much just leaves Hines Williams and Sims. The latter 2 completely unproven. I’m guessing Jordan just felt 2 years was enough. And he wasn’t gonna see the field
Banuelos is an internet rumor and makes sense. He’s from Washington now at the bottom of his class. Is ready to start. Probably is the 3rd guard and won’t. And they are bringing in people behind him. I hope he doesn’t because after investing three years in building alignment who’s actually starting to see the field you would like to see the benefit of the year number four and five and he is heading into it.
I think USC pursues a safety in the portal. I don’t think their depth there is what cb or DT are. I think they pursue a LB who can play right away. Although they are high on walker newby and Stephens. All of them were in the same class. 2nd year players. And they do have young talent behind them and coming in. So maybe not. If they bring in any portals on D it will be one DE one LB and one S. And IMo the importance is in reverse order of that. This is all until hell breaks loose on Jan 2 and half the teams agents turn them loose lol
No OL portals in. No RB. No TE. Don’t be surprised if a TE leaves. Tabaracci Matthews. Olsen. Matthews should convert to OL. At 6’5 285 he’s already there.
Portals on offense would be WR and QB only if things get weird crazy and huard is fully done.
So IMO they only take 4 guys from the portal. WR. DE. LB. S. Not counting specialists like a punter or long snapper or 3rd string towel waver

KeymasterYeah I was text by voice and it does weird stuff. Hill. Same kid.
I was not aware sermons got hurt. Graham did and played the max games to still redshirt. So Alex is still a frosh

Keymaster34 commitments. Now 35. No de commitments. No last minute flips. Well Dixon Wyatt flips from Ohio state. Top program. Top wr factory. And so cal kid. Big flip there.
so the only flip is to USC. At one point they convert about 4 Oregon kids in a row.
no drama. You might recall in years past USC would either finish strong by getting some last minute surprises on 3-4 guys or under the last years of Helton and even Riley lose 2-3 guys at the end and the class would always lose a little shine
not this year. No drama. No surprises. And if there is any. It’s Dixon Wyatt and good news there
Chad Bowden. Hats off.

ParticipantButkus, if 44 Tagiloa(sp) can add 25lbs he is going to be super IMO. I also believe Jacobi Lane is making a big mistake. My guess is he will be a third rounder. I hate losing Conley as I believe he has more upside than Williams. Conley reacts quicker on running plays and will be a shutdown corner wherever he goes. The coaches know best, so I’ll have to trust their judgment.
