Participant<p style=”text-align: left;”>the top of the fake lake in Victorville. Made me chuckle. Is the golf course attached to the fake lake development any good? Bear something CC? It looked like it had oddly decent routing and was in good shape (from 20k feet). Anyone know?

ParticipantCoeur d Alene is awesome probably my favorite lake, of course I’m partial to Idaho. Lake Pend Orielle is pretty nice too.
Coeur d Alene and Lake Tahoe are my top two you just have to be Bill Gates to live on the water.

ParticipantYeah, CDA is pretty sweet. Pend Oreille too. The hidden GEMS up here are Priest Lake and Hayden Lake. Nothing fake about these lakes. Gotta survive the winters, via escaping. Lol.

ParticipantOne time, I flew over the Sierra Mt on a small commuter plane and it was a rough flight. It had big drops, bouncing up and down and plane shook like a mother. The pilot in a calm voice said it’s always very turbulent flying over the Sierra’s and just hold on. Dang, I do not envy pilots who have daily routes going over that Mt range. It was nerve wrecking… Cheers

ParticipantI’ll never forget my buddy telling me who was a pilot that flying was hours of boredom interrupted by seconds of shear terror.

KeymasterYes, the golf mentions I have made here were from there. You took the time to Google it? Weirdo It’s Spring Valley Lake Country Club. Got bought out and now it’s Bear Valley Country Club. No one knows why. It’s not Bear Valley. There’s a road nearby called bear valley Rd but that kinda goes toward Big Bear, which might be Bear Valley. No idea why they changed the name.
It’s in SVL and yes, it’s attached, but you don’t get auto membership. Did you fly over Lake Arrowhead? That’s fake too. Most lakes in CA are. Idiot term. Your plane was fake too. Manmade. As is your brain.
Used to be a Championship course and I was told a pro tour stop. But as they kept building nicer and fancier courses, this dropped off as they didn’t keep upgrading it and the PGA tour didn’t exactly want to come to Victorville. Can’t blame them

Participant<p style=”text-align: left;”>Good info of SVLCC, thank you. Yes, I saw Big Bear and Arrowhead too. I didn’t coin the term Fake Lake but seeing the development made me chuckle. Like I said, that course looks solid.

ParticipantOne of my better nicks. The idiot still thinks his fake lake is real. He was actually proud of the ridiculous cement pond in freaking Hesperia.
No wonder his coffee bidness ended in suck a disaster. Here’s a thought, Don’t start a coffee bidness if you don’t like or drink coffee. lmao.
He actually bought a house with a view of a parking structure just like the ones at SC. You really can’t make this stuff up. sc
