ParticipantBruddah Balls, Strange my topic, titled, High School FB, 11-1-25 disappeared. Subject was the Mater Dei vs St John Bosco game, 10-31-25. You and PT posted replies. But now it’s gone, disappeared. Do you know what caused it to disappear? I looked at the other forums and it’s not there. Why would it get X out of the FB forum? Thanxs for your input… Cheers

ParticipantDamn, that was a great post Bruddah. I don’t know what happened , maybe the link I put in my reply sent the post to spam purgatory. I have noticed that when I put a link in a post it disappears. Too bad, I enjoy reading your high school football takes.

KeymasterNo clue on the disappearing post. Not me
weird day today. Everyone who is supposed to be winning. Is winning. I realize if Vanderbilt is rated higher than Texas, but I still expected Texas to win. I think everybody did

ParticipantI expected Vandy to put up more of a fight. How about Sarks playcalling? Bubble screens, short passes, all to hide Manning’s deficiencies.

ParticipantOhio St vs Penn St. 4th qt, 2:00 minutes left, OS winning 38-14. Dang, QB Julian Sayin, 20/23 87%, 316 yds, 4 TD’s 259 QBR. Dam, just give him the Heisman already. Calif kid, 5*, top QB CIF and C. LR did not recruit him hard… Cheers

ParticipantTexas (W) vs Vandy, 34-31. Wow what a comeback by Vandy and QB Pavia in the 4th Qt = 21 pts. Man, dat was a QB dual between Manning, Texas vs Pavia, Vandy. The last 2 weeks Manning has been lighting up da passing stats. C. Sark must have settled him down and corrected his accuracy, passing mechanics. Most of all his confidence changed for the da good big time. Glad for the youngster, he was getting the heat from Texas fans. Good for C. Sark for his composure and belief in his young QB.
Texas. A.Manning: 25/33 76%, 328 yds, 3 TD’s, 189 QBR. Xlent game
Vandy. D. Pavia: 27/38, 71%, 365 yds, 3 TD, 178 QBR. Xlent game. What a scrappy QB and FB player. He has Moxie and Mojo. I like dat trait in a QB.

ParticipantDang Miami, 6-2 loss again vs SMU, 6-3, 20-26. Dat’s 2 losses in the last 3 games. Looks like Miami is not gonna make the CFP. Too bad, they started out strong too. But, QB C. Beck has been inconsistent the last 3 games.
SMU is a very good FB team. Their 3 losses were by 3, 7 and 1 pts and could easily be 8-1.

ParticipantAnother important game. OU, # 18 (W) vs Tennesseee, # 14, 33-27.
OU, QB J. Mateer had a solid game: P = 19/29, 66%, 159 yds, 0 TD, I IT, ran mucho plays 16-80 yds, 1 TD, overall grade = B+. OU D stuffed Tenn RB’s for only 63 yds.
Tennessee, QB, J. Aguilar had a very good game: P = 29-45, 65%, 393 yds, 3 TD, 2 IT, 151 QBR. Tenn could not run da ball = 63 yds. Joey Aguilar should be considered top 6 Heisman candidate. Dam good QB…

ParticipantAfter yesterday FB games. My Heisman top 7 candidates.
1. Julian Sayin, Ohio St
2. Fernando Mendoza, Indiana
3. Ty Simpson, Bama
4. Marcel Reed, Texas AM
5. Diego Pavia, Vandy
6. Joey Aguilar, Tennessee
7. Dante Moore, Oregon
PS. Sadly, I dropped J. Maiava from the race. He played badly yesterday, not worthy of a Heisman player.
