Didn’t USC already hire a safeties coach?

Looks like they are about to hire another.  La Tech coach.  One of Gary Pat’s former players.

I didn’t know this but apparently the NCAA lifted the restrictions on staff size even on the field coaching in 2024.  Missed that one.  Now you can only have 11 OFF campus recruiting coaches but can have 80 on campus recruiting teeth brushing and every other detail.

Apparently they decided this analyst thing was a sham and said f it, just let them coach.  Just only 11 recruiters.  So staffs have to have exploded the last few years.  More of the NFL-ifying of the NCAA football world.

Reed coaching the CBs, Carter coaching the Safeties, Gonzales is going to work with GP to coach the entire secondary.

Unless there is someone leaving it looks like we are just loading up on coaches now.
