To Washington in basically a salary dump.  Washington doesn’t really want him either.  Davis actually thinks hes going to GET PAID.  Like he’s expecting Washington to offer him a max level deal.  Washington is laughing.  They have no intention of paying him real money.  Not sure why they made the deal.

But here is a shocker.  Davis is not happy with the deal.  Even though he demanded to be traded.  And now it doesn’t look like he is going to suit up for Washington.  He plans to sit so he can get “fully healthy” for next year. The Athletic reported that AD “is not likely” to play again this season as he recovers not only from the hand injury he suffered in January, but also a groin strain

Hahahahahaha  Stop me if you have read this before!  Now Luka has his own problems in LA.  Dallas and Nico weren’t totally wrong about him.  But getting rid of $50 million a year in an aging and soft malcontent like Davis was a gift.  To get anything back moreso.

LA BTW has no intent of resigning Le Bron and he and his $52 million player option will walk out the door.  Apparently he was hoping LA would give him another 2 years at $110 million which he thought was a “discount” lol  These guys are delusional.  Le Bron is still a quality player with diminished minutes.  He might be worth $15 million even in a NBA universe of stupid salaries.

So LA will save themselves $52 million a year and they also owe Bronny $2 million for one more season.  I am 100% sure wherever Bron goes LA will trade Bronny for a future 2nd round pick.  Or just waive him.  So LA stands to gain $54 million on the cap this off season.  Austin Reaves will go from about $14 million to about $45-47 on his next deal, thus eating up about $31Million of that $54 million.  Still leaves LA with $23 million potentially to spend on bettering their team.  Not sure if they can do anything with that and losing James will hurt.  But time to move on
