Sooooooooooooooo good. Best I’ve seen all year. And can take a hit and keep on ticking. Accurate down the field. Can throw with touch. Howlitzwer when he wants to. Mobile.

I’m haven’t seen A lot of Mendoza. Will watch tonight.

Bruddah Pasadena, dat’s a bold statement (Chambliss is the best QB you saw dis year).  Hmm, it got me thinking and took about an hour to figure who I thought were the best QB’s I saw dis 2025 season.  And dis list could change, there’s still the other semi finals and da Finals yet to be played.

My ratings metrics are based on accuracy, field generalship, has all the throws, can extend plays with his legs, strong leadership, has Mojo and Moxie.  Here are the best QB’s I saw dis year.

Note:  QB’s under my high consideration list, one could argue dat they belong into my top 8 list.  Ratings are never easy and not science.

1b. D. Pavia, Vandy

D. Moore, Oregon

J. Sayin, Ohio St.

T. Chambliss, Ole Miss. Must improve accuracy, 65%.  vs Miami 62%. Miami game he should have run more, maybe Ole Miss wins?

I lean towards being an nfl prospect or not. Like Diego P. Highly effective college dude. Temu Tebow. But not an nfl guy.

sayin has no arm strength or quicks. Miller Moss ish.

Donte Moore vs Mendoza will be fun tonight. Moore is really good and can spot the ball but I don’t love his form fwiw. But does it really really matter? Nope.

Chambliss is as talented I’ve seen. Like #1 overall talented.

Mendoza deserves his accolades. Let’s see how he looks tonight. I feel like he is never roughed up or throwing under pressure. Maybe he can and I’ve missed it. I just haven’t seen it. Yet.

Maiava is ok.  But he’s not that nimble.  Hesitant to be mobile.  And makes at least two just mind numbing head scratching insanely dumb throws or decisions each game.

now whether those turn into turnovers is usually luck or whether a d players head was turned or dropped the ball.

I feel about Maiava like many feel about Riley. Ambivalent. Not sold.  I thought Longstreet had a lot of speed.  Moves and if he developed some pocket discipline and the ability to deliver the ball to his spots regularly and with touch could have been elite. Like program changing. Maiava is tall and has a nice strong arm.  That’s about it.  Oh and at 6’4 he gets way too many passes batted down by dropping his arm angle and throwing from the slot

Agree with your assessment of Maiava Java.  He has an uncanny ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.  He has amazing touch and a brain that freezes at the most mind-numbing times.

Outside view.  Maiava is a much better qb than I thought he was heading into this year. .  USC isn’t losing games because your QB isn’t good enough.

Mendoza is good in a clean pocket. Doesn’t run that great. I think he’s a second round talent who will go to the nfl as the 1 pick. Maybe have a decent career but he absolutely is not reading 4-5 options. Hes a 1 read tuck and go qb. Maybe 2. Iu does very well w the talent they get.
