ParticipantI feel blessed to be alive, in great health and enjoying a beautiful day in Southern California.
What’s it look like in Bumfawk, Tennessee today?
edit: I looked it up,The weather in Tennessee in February is characterized by
cold, often changeable conditions, with average high temperatures in the low 50s°F and lows around freezing, making it one of the colder months. It is also one of the wetter months, with a high chance of rain and occasional snow or flurries. Bahahaha. Suk it.

ParticipantI’m watching the news and they just showed pics of the snow blizzard in the east coast. No way. Seriously no way I would live in that. I don’t care how many guns they allow me to buy/carry.
It will be 80 today in Orange County. Shorts and flip flops. Suk it California haters. I might send extra for my state income taxes in April.

ParticipantThe board is not gif friendly, which is too bad Brad, because you always have good ones,
for pics, you select the sort of pic looking icon on the far right and follow the prompts. I can’t post pics on my phone, the icon doesn’t show work on my phone, only on my iPad or desktop computer.

ParticipantCan’t knock the weather.
I’ve lived all my life in West L.A. Until the 90s I couldn’t imagine why anyone would want to live anywhere other than in Los Angeles. Now I know. Every time I do a +/- table of living in California, the + column gets shorter and the – column gets longer. The weather is one of the very few + survivors.

ParticipantYeah, I see your point. Certainly a lot of negatives if you really think about it. The politics wouldn’t make me move. I don’t let that bother me and politics change. My neighborhood is great. Most people I talk to that move out always mention politics and taxes but when they come clean they just can’t afford to live here. Because of careful planning and good fortune that’s not a problem for me.
But it’s still like looking for pimples on Ms America. As I walked on the beach with my wife yesterday I told her, “ this is incredible, where else can we enjoy this lifestyle”. Recently we have been talking about moving to Spain for a few months. The Marbella area. I was there in the 90’s but I gotta say California is more beautiful.i
ps I’m just poking at the numerous California haters. Most who have left but can’t stop California dreamin’

ParticipantAgree Balls! Just have to live in the right Counties! Newsom talks one way on TV, but lives totally different up here and hides in the red county, aside from his new $9 million house in Kent.

ParticipantWe may have walked right by each other yesterday because my wife and I were doing the same thing walking on the beach. We were saying they are getting slammed with winter storms in Mammoth and Tahoe and here we are in shorts and flips.
I’ve always lived in Southern California except for a 5 year move to Sedona. Beautiful place and everything but you start missing the water so it was back to the beach. Spain? sounds interesting.

ParticipantI make my way to Sedona every couple of years. Absolutely beautiful. But I like the beach. It calls me. California will always be my home base, it’s where my family is. But I would like to spend summer’s elsewhere. I like Spain. I like the tapas culture of eating, I like the history. Love Seville but Marbella on the coast is pretty nice too.

ParticipantCalifornia. Bums, dirtbags, Crime, Taxes, foreigner scum, woketards, gated community is a requirement, not an option, homeowners associations, traffic, sub 1000 SAT governor , single party leftist control. etc.
As long as you have funds, it’s better than freezing to death. I have plenty of funds. People deserve to suffer with what they voted for. I think I would have loved the gilded age where there was zero tolerance for most of the above. Only problem I see is no AC. F that. sc

ParticipantWas just down in Oceanside for State Cup for the kids soccer teams, pretty nice. One kid had to take a dump on the way home and the wife got off the fwy in San Clemente and just got right back on, said she didn’t realize it was so grimy that close to the sea. Haha, I couldn’t wait to come post that on the board. It wasn’t even that bad she was just being a bit snobby and highfalutin.

ParticipantShe didn’t make it far past Dennys on that pico exit, is that the opportunity zone area? She made a left at first intersection and ended up in some auto shop version of deliverance. Told her the rest is probably pretty nice, is that like the worst area?

ParticipantIt is the opportunity zone area. Behind Sanka’s favorite in and out. Dennys is Denny’s. That one has been there since the 60’s. A few more exits and there is a Denny’s that has been in Dana Point since the early 80’s. Like a McDonalds, They are all the same. Right on the other side of the freeway on pico is the exact place where Darnold first starred as a Linebacker a couple hundred yards away.
ps. please tell your skank bitch of an excuse for a wife that I will include in my prayers tonight that the cunt has terminal breast cancer . Actually she probably already has it, she just doesn’t know it yet. sc

ParticipantWell you tell YOUR wife….oh wait, you are an absolute worthless cocksucker who no one loves. You really are a piece of shit. I bet it has been a while since anyone other than a telemarketer has given you a call. Just going to ride out your days talking to the walls and furniture in your house and after you go your town will be nice enough for people to pull off the road to take a dump, but not until then.

ParticipantNot me, gonna go get some action before turning in for the night. Have fun longing for human contact outside of Java’s board. She gets those things regularly though, if you were ever within 30 feet of a woman you would know that. They don’t talk about that sort of thing at the garage/salon?

ParticipantI opened a branch for Home Savings in San Clemente in 1994 or 1995. My area of responsibility was most of South Orange County. I read all of the demographic reports, reports on customer bank deposits and customer financial profiles. Yeah , it isn’t Newport Beach or Dana Point which were also in my territory.

ParticipantCA a complete shithole. Want to hear something crazy….the state of Idaho ran a surplus last year so they reduced my property taxes, which are only $6500 to begin with on $2.5m accessed value. Regarding the weather, we have these things called planee. 🖕🖕🖕that hellhole. I’m sad it took me 50+ years to figure it

KeymasterI had some lady trying to argue w me yesterday that her weather in Palmdale. And new other house outside Albuquerque had better weather than Dana point and Crystal cove. She kept going on about morning fog. May gray. And marine layer.
and at one point I just interrupted and said “I’m sorry. I’m just still stuck onnnnnnn Palmdale”.
I really had to be nice because she was either a customer or about to be one but I was like so this is what it’s like to talk to a wealthy crazy lady

ParticipantWorked in Palmdale, aerospace industry, starting 1975, 80’s 90’s to 2005. Antelope Valley, Palmdale (high desert, 2,900 ft above sea level) seasonal weather had 4 seasons. Summer’s are horrible, scorching hot (100-110 degrees), but cools down at night into da mid 60’s which is nice. Fall and Spring are very nice. Winter is cold as fock (nights, 10-30 degrees), but kinda nice in a way. By day when the sun comes up it gets 52-64 degrees). Antelope Valley has mucho sun light, but has some morning fog in the mountains. Not to mention very windy, afternoons.
Antelope Valley has a super great spring time, nature event, the bloom of the California Poppies flowers. A spectacular sea of orange. It was about a 30 minute drive from SC Valley, not too bad. Antelope Valley has its nice neighborhoods and a lot of bad areas too. The population is bigger than SC Valley.
AV used to have great HS FB teams, not any more, the last 15 years or so. I remember when AV HS, Quartz Hill HS and even Palmdale HS were once SS CIF FB powers. Many of AV best players transfer and commute to Valencia HS, Oak Christian HS, Notre Dame HS, Alemany HS, Hart HS, Chaminade HS… Cheers
