Bama’s Simpson is Putting Out Some Great Tape

I have been impressed with Simpson in the games I have watched him play. Gritty, tough guy who makes plays.

I remember Bama’s (L) 1st game vs Florida St, 17-31, Simpson struggled.  He got sacked 3 times and almost 3 more times, due to poor OL play.  Here are his stats for the game:  23/43 = 53%, 254 yds, 3 sacks, 1 IT, 118 QBR (average).  OK it was his 1st game, and it was a big one, but he did not play well.  Most of his passing stats came in the 4th Qt, trying to mount a come back and win da game.  For 3 Qts, he played badly.

Shoot, after dat FSU loss, Simpson has been on fire and big reason Bama’s on a 6 games consecutive win run.  He has been very impressive, and ranked top 7 QBR.  I posted the other day of my top 5 QB’s so far, Sayin Ohio St, Mendoza, Indiana, Simpson, Bama, Maiava, USC, D. Willams, Oregon.

OU QB, J. Mateer dropped out due an injury.  He was my # 1 early on…  Cheers
