ParticipantTried to raise the money to get rid of Coach Lincoln Rilley, but came up short.
I guess she doesn’t think he’s a very good head coach either, huh.
SC has thousands of millionaires but not many billionaires that give a shit about football. bummer. sc

Participantand yet USC wouldn’t even return your phone call to get a dime of your ill gotten day trading gambling proceeds.
You actually left a message that you were willing to donate 10 grand.
Yawn.
They probably are still laughing. sc

ParticipantBrady is going to war with SC and CLR because of What he said about ND not wanting to play USC anywhere anytime LIE.
Also Colin Cowherd and Joel Klatt (big voices obv) bad mouthed ND pretty good last week too. Who needs them? Why play them only on their terms? They need to join a conference.
I’m not saying it’s not true I’m just saying he’s pissed right now.
That being said Jen is right. The teams I watched today look NOTHING like the USC teams CLR is putting out the last 4 years

ParticipantPetros is 100% right. Cowherd is little more than a mouthpiece for Riley & Cohen. Those are his sources and that’s where he gets his info. His parent company is also a broadcast rival of NBC. Fox would love nothing more than to drive ND into the Big 10 to enhance their package and weaken NBC.
That said on the specifics of their statement that ‘nobody needs ND’. Without ND Miami doesn’t make the playoffs period. ND represented Miami’s only top 25 win. Sub out ND for Bethune-Cookman and Miami finishes somewhere around 15th or 16th in the final poll.
The real tell here is that fanboys like Cowherd and Klatt never phrase the ND game as a positive for USC because neither think Riley is beating Freeman. They’re saying that a win over a top 10 ranked ND wouldn’t enhance a 9-3 USC’s playoff chances if they were on the cutline in the final week of the season.
Of course it would.
But internally USC doesn’t really think Riley is capable of that, so the ND game is no longer viewed as an opportunity. Instead it is now viewed as an expected loss, and thus a barrier to be avoided if playoff ambitions are to be met.
This really isn’t hard.
