I really remembered when I saw this deal be announced right after the Dodgers sold wondering why they had to go bankrupt and why mc court had to sell the team

 

it was very clear back then that it was going to be a huge revenue stream. I thought perhaps it was a matter of timing that maybe the deal didn’t kick in for another year or two but who cares if you’ve got a contract for 25 years and that sort of revenue stream coming you could always borrow against it in the meantime
