  Last year it was 16
  
  last year 10 former 5 stars. Went undrafted. Previous year it was 11. Not sure how many 5 stars the pool is. Whether the guy I saw is quoting one service or all of them. Some services have like 20-25 5 stars but if you counted all services you probably could come up with 50-75 kids a year.
  
  anyway. Average nfl retirement age is 27.6.
  
  length of nfl career is 3.3. Qb 4.5.
  
  1.6% of college players make the nfl. That has to include lower divisions id think
  
  16% of nfl players will be bk within 12 years of retirement. Which is actually a longer time frame and lower number than I thought. I’d heard it was like 60% within 5-7 years. So I guess stats can be wild depending on where you get em.

  NIL valuations are increasing. Why? Inflation is a summabitch? Can’t blame tariffs. Seems to me this is a product of the economic arms race ( QB’s, arms race, I know punny right?) in college football. Lots of tv rights cash chasing too few elite talent guys. So the mediocre ones benefit too.

  I read a comment from Gilbert Arena’s recently about his $100 million contract. Paraphrasing he said, “ $100 million isn’t really that much. $40 million goes to taxes and you are left with just about half”.
  
  Imagine having $60 million to invest ? Even a conservative 8% investment will generate ~$5 mill in interest every year. If u are from the hood and can’t live on $5mill a year, what is wrong with you? Crazy.

    I can just see two or three years from now when the investigations start and the allegations roll out. Everyone around USC and all the fans will say “we had no idea. Who would’ve ever seen that coming? There were no clue no signs sometimes these things just come out of nowhere”
