ParticipantMaiava will have a veteran OLine, Waymo and Miller at RB, The JC TE and Bowman, and a bunch of talented wide receivers. Riley is going to have a blast playcalling.
Maybe, just maybe we will have a decent defense. Fountain, Jide, Jarret, Stewart, Boucard all back, MSU transfer AVS , we finally have the horses to put pressure on the QB and help our corners a little bit. We are going to run a 4-2-5 defense . LB are scary as in maybe not good.
Secondary of
CB- Jontez Williams, Chasen Johnson
CB- Marcelles Williams, RJ Sermons
Weak safety- Christian Pierce, Dee Reddick
Free Safety- Alex Graham , Marquis Gallegos
Strong Safety- Kennedy Urlacher, Prophet Brown
a freshman class of 20 players might have 5 nfl guys, this class is 38 and probably has 8-10 NFL guys.

ParticipantThanxs Bruddah Balls, QB Maiava really improve in 2025. One major difference, he pulled the mesh and ran, fooling the D. Glad C.LR allowed him run da ball which was good. He was an Xlent field general, A+ vision-check downs and very good scrambling when the pocket broke down. He was a big reason USC O was top 3 in nation and for more than 7 games #1.
Sadly, the D let down C.LR top O last year. Dam if the D was at least in da top 12-14 nation, we would have won da Illinois and maybe ND and Oregon games. Let’s hope DC Patterson will get the #47 D and #48 scoring D into the top 10-15 D stats. The O should be in the top 6 again.
Looking forward to dis 2026 FB season… Cheers

troystoryParticipantBased on timing, I thought we were getting Darnold’s highlights here. That would be more of a Pasadena post I suppose. Cool to see two prominent USC #14’s now though.

Participantlol, the headline was written with that intent. Kinda of a head fake. I like pt’s posts but I also like highlight videos.
The cool thing about no names on jerseys is you can bring them out in different era’s. I don’t wear jerseys to games anymore but I have been gifted just about every featured number since the early 90’s. The media guide used to list numbers and all the players that wore the number at USC. I would say Sam made 14 famous but that’s without thinking too hard about previous guys. Keyshawn wore #3 but Carson retired it. Maiava just might retire #14. -
