BB, I believe CLR is a good coach, but IMO he has a notable flaw. When SC wins the coin flip he frequently goes on offense and doesn’t defer to the second half. IMO that is a statistically a stupid move and especially on road games, which puts our defense on the field one extra time in the second half and removes one series from our offense. My guess is this affection he has to take the ball on offense after winning the coin flip dates back to his time with Mike Leach.

He won the coin flip in Nebraska and went on offense with a QB who has displayed problems in away games. Your thoughts?
