Nebbie’s OC was picking on Williams. Ref’s seem a lot less sensitive to excessive celebrations than they used to be. I feel like Williams would have been flagged for PI on a few plays by the old pac 12 ref’s. Grabbing the WR and not turning his head to look for the ball. And for trash talking.
