now Campbell and Fickell and Chip Kelly. They seemed like solid hires. So did Lincoln for that matter.

hiring a HC is a big crap shoot. Heck no one wanted Pete Carroll. Even USC fans. Took Harbaugh a lot longer to turn Michigan around than expected. Situations matter.
radio and nueheisal stepped into Carrolls juggernaut. Mora Didn’t. QBs matter. Other teams in conference matter. Schedules matter. Injuries matter. NIL money matter. A thousand variables and the experts only focus on w/l records. Tough deal
