Every team needs to face this. USC got ball first. OSU has had it twice. Road game. Excited crowd. First time USC has trailed this year.
Can't say I am that upset with the USC D. They made OSU work their way down the field twice and OSU had a couple 4th downs and scored on one of them. That's about what I expect. The USC O? I expect them to score TD's on about 2/3 of their possessions so going 0-2 isn't exactly following the script. We shall see how it turns out. Fortunately, I think this USC staff and team can come from behind. Now they'll have to.
If not, this will be a loss in game 4 for a team we expected to open 6-0. So that would be quite disappointing but it's not all going to be unicorns and roses.
What is obvious is Caleb Williams, like most QB, is Tom Brady with a clean pocket and open field. But he is decidedly less effective and doesn't really like running under pressure. I question his toughness at this stage. Lacks grit. He's got a lazy motion. Meaning he throws a lot with his arm. Often throws on the move. Or chooses to throw on the move without planting. And when you do that you're all arm. When he loses his base and throws under pressure he leans a lot. And on the run he throws off the wrong foot a lot or just wings it. His accuracy isn't good when he does.
Also. Raleek Brown is NOT the guy you want running 3rd and short into the line.
