ParticipantSo, we know Riley has no rolodex. I’m suprised the burnout Patterson doesn’t know any real coaches.

ParticipantMaybe he got da DC job because the DL demanded he get the gig or Sayonara and Adios for the TP. Read his bio below, it looks decent, fairly young in his coaching career. If Skylar’s hire was a compromise to keep our top DL from the TP, then it’s All Good for da team. Sometimes there has to be a give and take position by coaches and players… Cheers

KeymasterSimilar move to Hanson or henson getting the ol gig when the other guy left. Big time money saving move too. Means usc has fairly cheap coaches at cb dl ol and savage

ParticipantGood points Bruddah Java. In the end, C.LR is da man. He must lead with a strong hand with his AC’s and players. Players must see him as a strong, hard leader that will get them at least a B1G crown, become CFP bound and feel good about their development. C.LR shown dat he is a top O coach; his downfall is/was the D.
By hiring one of the top DC’s in C. Patterson hopefully he can get USC D into the top 12-15 D in da nation. If C. Patterson can do dat, I see USC make the 12 team CFP in 2026… Cheers

ParticipantHah, man if things go badly with the D, wonder if DC Patterson would resort to finger pointing? Saying the D AC’s were not my hire and choices. Let’s hope the D kick arse, so these type of excuses won’t come up… Cheers
