If you are a fan of one of the teams, this is anyone’s game.  Wow, exciting defensive battle.

If you are NOT  fan of either team?  This is torture.  Completely sucks.  First Superbowl in history where a TD isn’t scored in a half.  3 kicks by the soccer player?  YUCK.  And the commercials are double yuck.  Man, remember when people looked forward to them and they were funny?  Controversial?  Sexy?

      Anyway, enough complaining.

      1) The star of the first half is the Seattle defense.  I really thought the best D int he NFL was Houston, followed by Denver  and New England.  Maybe the Rams.  Dang.  I underestimated this D.  Well done Seattle.  It has set up the O with good field position.

      2) Might be a tie here, but on the theme of D I will give this to the NE D.  With no help from their O they have allowed Seattle 9 points while being in bad field position most of the game.  I think their O has 52 yards.  Wow.  Anyway, they’ve given up 9, but no TD’s and no penalties.  Not bad at all.  Any other year this would be an amazing performance.

      3) Sam Darnold-has played on the line of disaster and has stayed on the right side of it.  First pass could easily have been a pick 6.  He hasn’t turned it over.  Hasn’t committed penalties, and as been pretty wiggly to keep the play alive.  Got to like what he’s doing.  Couple minor mistakes but my gosh it’s the super bowl.   I mean I won’t fawn too much.  9 points.  3 FG no TD

      4) New England Offense.  Man they suck right now   Can’t run.  Can’t pass.  They really need to figure it out

      5) Might be unfair but Drake Maye has to shoulder this.  Dude is the leader and needs to will his team to yards, then first downs, then points.  0 points is on him.  Figure it out boy.  Run if you have to.

NE gets the ball first so this could become very interesting very fast.  Sam might throw into too tight a window one too many times.  Happens.  For now, I am happy to see the USC and Lambda Chi guy winning.

Other than that, I care little and went and lifted weights during halftime
