Bruddah Pasadena, Calif players on a come back, hope you’re joking?   Calif FB talent has been in top 3 for decades.  See the NFL 2025 rankings by states.  I’ve always felt good about the talent dat Calif produces over the decades.  USC, UCLA, Oregon, UDub and rest of PAC schools and Bama, Ohio St, OU are filled with top Calif players.  And in the past Colorado, Michigan, FL State, Miami,Texas got our top HS FB talent.

Brah, and you’re a Calif dude, come on now.  Sometimes I have to scratch my head with stuff you write.  Shoot, USC won all their NC with their rosters filled with 75+% Calif players…  Cheers

Top 10 States Producing NFL Players (2025 Season – Week 1)

Appreciate you Bruddah Butkus. Love the love for CA kids.
but we have dipped a bit (or a lot) from peak CA talent days.  And having some studs isnt the same as having depth. I think peak CA (ceiling) is doing fine. mater Dei SJB etc. but I do think the floor has been lowered. Unquestionably and sadly. Or around the Country their floor has been raised. Maybe I’m just too USC ucla focused.

and so many 5 star CA kids have busted and I do think that’s part of the decline in our local colleges.
