LA DuckParticipantIt’s like having Christmas occur sometime in early December now, but you’ll only get a few presents then. Maybe you’ll get more in the coming days via the transfer portal and pretty much no presents on the actual day of Christmas.
Our one HUGE day of uncertainty and hope and bliss and disappointment is now spread out over months. And even then your presents may decide soon after Christmas to leave you anyway.
A big Bah Humbug to all of college football recruiting!
But despite all of that recruiting can still be sorta fun. So a big congrats to USC for coming in #1 in recruiting, with Alabama at #2 and my quacks at #3 (all per 247).

ParticipantYeah, national letter of intent day was so much fun. Those days are gone. Change is the only constant in life.

ParticipantIt’s classic whenever there are people in da decision making dept, they need to earn their keep/pay by changing, altering, modify a good thing. Chalk dis to da evolution of our beloved NCAA, lol.
Yep, I miss all da drama, surprises, wins/losses on signing day. I would take the day off. It was kool watching players go on TV for their signing day making it a big event. Plus, da TV drama and Big Surprises when players played the hat games and picked a school. All dat gone, da new system (early signing period) is not even close to being fun and exciting.
No Shaka to the NCAA for another dud and disappointing rule change. It’s a Wipe Out… Cheers

ParticipantThis year was just like last year. It was late in the evening on the 1st Wednesday in February and I realized ‘Ohh…this is LOI Day’. It is just another Wednesday now.
