ParticipantDang, I do not know how anyone can do a Mount Rushmore type of picks (4 players) for any position at USC, Impossible thing to do. I’ve spent 2 days racking my brain, putting together a list of my all time USC DL. I went on memory and did not look up their D stats. I have a top 16 list, A, B, C & High HM groups. Plus, wanted to mention other top DL placing them into the Other group. This was a very hard undertaking.
A list. Leonard Williams, Sed Ellis, Kenechi Udeze, Willie McGinest.
B list. Tim Ryan, Shaun Cody, Mike Patterson, Larry Jackson.
C. list. Darrel Russell, Tuli Tuipulotu, Rich Dimler, Gary Jeter.
High Honorable Mention. Dan Owens, George Achica, Tim Rossovich, Stevie Tuikolovatu
Other top DL: Nick Perry, Don Gibson, Matt Keneley, Chip Banks (DE/OLB) Byron Darby, Al Cowlings, Karl Lorch, Everson Griffen, LaJuan Ramsey, Jay Tufele, Marlon Tuipulotu, Ennis Davis, Manuel Wright, Jurrel Casey.

ParticipantGreat list Butkus.
Sed, Nick, LoJack, Cowling & Jeter (I didn’t see them) but sat next to AC in premier seats once and that was a BIG man.
Everson was a massive recruit with minimal impact but had a very good pro career
Daryl Russel was a massive recruit and massive talent. Prob most talented of them all actually. It’s between him and Big Cat for me. Then BKU.
