Hahahaha truth.  I just signed up a counseling center in Palm springs.   And when I’m on the phone I’m taking information. Name?  “A queer view”.  Um.  What?  “A queer view”.  San Clemente is that you?

so get this.  These people work like 4. Hours a day only 3 days a week or something.  He gets $500 for single counseling sessions that last half an hour.   His speciality is gay dudes as you can tell my the name and location.    He said for joint counseling he gets more than that.   Which means if grocery stick goes in he probably gets 5x the rate.

I surprised myself by asking questions.  Normally I just write up the order and take the money.   He explained PS is full of older gays.   And they are loaded.  I guess in the 80s and 90s all of the “normal” gaze flooded San Francisco and West Hollywood because it was too wild too flamboyant and too much AIDS. a normal gay guys who just wanted to come boof each other while having jobs during the daytime and being semi monogamous went to Palm Springs. Apparently not too many followed and now there’s just a massive old gay population there lol

well the guy explained to me that these gay guys as a rule are highly educated high income and they spent zero money over the years on big houses, kids, families and women who drain them. And usually the guy they are with makes as much as they do. They have no need for a big house because it’s just them so they are loaded

and apparently also this is like the first generation of open and out gay dudes who are getting old together, so the issues of inheritance healthcare managed care and all of that with a gay guy are kinda new at this point.  So they are having a lot of end life relationship issues that straight people don’t have.  You know like being angry at whatever coach works for their school, but never going to games but hating everyone from their couch? That type of thing

so anyway, I guess there’s a need for counseling for old gay guys in Palm Springs, and all of the therapist are general practice or straight oriented. so this guy is specializing in this market. And because they have so much money and he’s the only or one of the few really dedicated gay dudes doing it he can absolutely rape them on fees

all that to say that if they are also funding college football programs. Maybe grocery stick at it right all along  I should’ve been a catcher  oh, and played hockey

But he’s a 2 man office and I can relate and sympathize with small businesses just getting started.  Yeah my driver will probably think like you and be like “really?  This one is a waste of time”.  Either way it was an interesting story
