KeymasterIdiot of the year awards. Even over Grocery “I’ve always said down was a bust” stick and fraud.
what a colossal couple of dumb moves
and I tend to wonder whether declaring house will approve the NIL deals that are going to result in LSU and Oregon having about $7 million each tied up in their quarterbacks

ParticipantLongstreet said he wanted to go where he could start, but clearly he meant where he would get the big bag. Oregon definitely breaks bread and must have put a nice package together for Raiola, but I suspect he was surprised by today’s development

KeymasterI’m not sure if you saw but Utah was very excited to have their only five star recruit. Top recruit in Utah this year. I think he’s a wide receiver or maybe a combo player.
so coach retires doesn’t flinch
old coach leaves for Michigan. Doesn’t flinch.
signs his loi. Enrolls early. Goes to his first class on January 5. This is a kid they’ve recruited since 2022 and who was committed all year. Stayed with them through all the above. Conference change. Coaching change. Coach going to Michigan
kids leaves and enters the portal after 8 days. January 13. With a do not contact note.
can you say tampering and no rules? No window? No nothing?
the kids should wear price tags so at least we know what it’s going to take. They’re worse than women

LA DuckParticipantI guarantee you Raiola was not surprised by Dante coming back and fully understood his role going forward.

KeymasterThen he and Oregon deserve each other. Stupid move on both parts.
Did you enjoy watching Bryson Beaver fly away? That didn’t last long did it?

LA DuckParticipantIf 7 of the 12 teams in the playoffs this year are any indication, the days of high school QBs remaining at the schools they originally signed with, and become the QB who leads you to the playoffs, are officially over. The era of the transfer QBs is with us and there’s no end in sight, especially if you want to give yourself the best chance at winning.
Is there a better strategy than stacking at least somewhat proven QB talent in the transfer portal era? Let me know what that is.
And of those other 5 teams who had QBs they originally recruited from HS, the only win by a team in the playoffs this year? Alabama’s win over Oklahoma….
I’m sure a few dinosaurs will continue to base their strategy solely on nabbing the best 4 or 5-star HS QBs out there and cross their fingers they will end up being amongst the best and will remain there longer than 2 years or so rather than use the transfer portal to get a player who has valuable experience and has been proven, at least to some degree.
You are thinking like it’s still 1980 or even 2020, Java, easy to do when you live in the past. I know you are smarter than that.

KeymasterMalachai Longstreet is afraid of competition from Jonas Williams. Has nothing to do with this year. Or NIL. He’s going to go back up sam leavitt and there won’t be anyone behind him he’s scared of. Williams is a good player and Longstreet doesn’t want a guy that close in years read and able to Caleb Williams his Spencer rattler
