LA DuckParticipantLeading rusher for Oregon, Noah Whittington, is now listed as questionable for the semifinal game tonight.
If Lanning can pull off a win with a single healthy schollie RB on the roster (true frosh Dierre Hill) vs the #1 and only undefeated team in the nation, he deserves to win the the coach of the year award. Not technically possible because I believe Vandy’s coach has already won it, but still….maybe make it a special award for coach of the decade…lol!
I had hopes that Oregon could *maybe* find a way to beat Indiana tonight. I now give that as much chance as the possibility of Oregon State winning the 2027 college football championship…ugh….hope my quacks can at least keep the score respectable.
Lanning and Stein will likely need to channel Mouse Davis and June Jones and the ol’ run & shoot for any chance to win this one now.

ParticipantLA, Lanning is a very good coach, so don’t sell your quacks short. The ducks are loaded on both sides of the ball and the loss of your best RBs will certainly hurt, but IMO your chances of beating Indiana are still good, much to my disappointment. I’d feel better in Dante suddenly developed a minor injury in his throwing arm. LOL!

TEEParticipantNo matter. Ducks got this. If not, it’s all on Lanning. $10 mil salary. Check. $ 20 mil+ NIL. Check. 4th year. All his recruits. Check.
opponent. A historical bottom feeder. Team with nothing but 3 star players. A lot of transfer rejects. A coach no one else wanted . The worst Heisman ever outside of Torreta .
oh Danny.. you job is on the line

ParticipantLa Duck & Sawtooth-24, Eh sorry about the loss last night, your team played well, but 3 TO’s really hurt the team. Like I always write and state, game point results are deceiving; the 3 TO’s = 21 cheap points for Indy. I feel the real score = 35-22 Indy, (NOT 56-22). Other than the 3 TO’s, your boys played well. But, the 5 passing TD’s by QB Mendoza, I think 3 TD’s were blown coverage by your 2ndary.
You know the CFP is a very tough tournament, probably the toughest in all of college sports. Maybe the Texas Tech game took a lot wind out of the team, shoot Oregon played a perfect game. Hell dat TT game was very physical. Also, you guys needed to win 4 games, back to back weeks to win the NC. This 12 team CFP format is too much FB; I think 8 team CFP is more reasonable.
Plus not having your 3 top RB’s surely hurt. But, I thought your 2 reserve RB’s did good and OL opened up holes. The shaky positions were QB D. Moore and his 3 TO’s which were Big TO’s, other wise he passed well. The other position, was your DB’s allowing 5 passing TD’s by Mendoza.
I did not address Tee, because I’m tired of his stupid takes about your team and other subjects (like American tennis). Nothing he says is correct or uplifting; I never met a more downer person if all my life. He would make a bad Coach. I can’t imagine how his wife and children put up with his outlook about life. Man, dat dude must chill or he is gonna get a heart attack…
Anyway, cheer up guys your team had a very good 2025 season and went far (Semi’s or Final 4) in the CFP. Hell, imagine how USC fans have been feeling about our FB team for the last 10 years or so of terrible FB. In parting, I think if QB D. Moore comes back, 2026 will be your year to win da NC… Peace & Aloha. Cheers.
